Mercedes-Benz G-Class 2019

With so many innovations coming with each new model year Mercedes-Benz vehicle, it can be hard to top each previous model. However, the automaker has done it again, as new information was released about the upcoming Mercedes G Class 2019. So what’s new in the 2019 Mercedes-Benz G-Class? 

The first thing that SUV fans will like to hear about the new Mercedes G Class is that it is more spacious than the previous model. Passengers in both the first and second rows will now have additional legroom, shoulder room and elbow room. For extra space while loading cargo and luggage, the rear seats of the new Mercedes G-Class can also be folded down to 40, 60 or 100 percent.  

Mercedes-Benz also made improvements to the already capable G-Class’ off-road capabilities. In fact, here is a list of some of the adjustments made by the automaker: 

• Slope climbing ability of up to 100% on suitable surfaces 
• Ground clearance between axles now 9.5 inches (+ 6 mm) 
• Maximum fording depth now 27.6 inches when driving through water and mud (+3.9 inches) 
• Breakover angle of 26°, (+ 1°) 
• Angle of departure: 30°, angle of approach: 31° (+ 1°) 
• Break-over angle: 26°, (+ 1°)
